Up for sale is a rare vintage Seiko Scuba 5H25-6000 men’s diver sports watch, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1990s. This distinctive model features Seiko’s popular Scuba design language, a bold diver-inspired case, and 200-meter water resistance, making it a highly recognizable sports watch from the era.
The watch is in full working condition with the exception of the bezel, which is currently unable to turn. I have not applied significant force in an attempt to rotate it and will leave any further attempts to the buyer.
The watch is fitted with an aftermarket bracelet that closely resembles the original design.
The watch has signs of use and age, and the photos best describe its physical condition.

► ARCHIVE FILE: SEIKO — BRAND HISTORY
Seiko begins with Kintaro Hattori, who opened a shop selling and repairing clocks in Tokyo's Ginza district in 1881, at the age of twenty-one. He founded the Seikosha factory in 1892 to manufacture wall clocks, built Japan's first wristwatch, the Laurel, in 1913, and put the Seiko name on a dial for the first time in 1924. By mid-century his successors ran one of the most vertically integrated watch companies on earth, making everything from hairsprings to cases under its own roof.
