Up for sale is a rare vintage Seiko Dolce 9520-5110 men’s quartz classic dress watch produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1980s. The Dolce line represented Seiko’s premium dress watch offerings of the era and is well known for its elegant styling, slim profile, and high-quality quartz movements.
The watch is in full working condition and is keeping time properly. I am unsure if the bracelet is original to the watch, although I believe it is. All other parts of the watch appear to be original.
The watch has signs of use and age consistent with a vintage timepiece. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully prior to purchase. A particularly distinctive feature of this example is its uniquely designed octagonal case and integrated bracelet, giving it a refined yet unmistakably 1980s aesthetic.

► ARCHIVE FILE: SEIKO — BRAND HISTORY
Seiko begins with Kintaro Hattori, who opened a shop selling and repairing clocks in Tokyo's Ginza district in 1881, at the age of twenty-one. He founded the Seikosha factory in 1892 to manufacture wall clocks, built Japan's first wristwatch, the Laurel, in 1913, and put the Seiko name on a dial for the first time in 1924. By mid-century his successors ran one of the most vertically integrated watch companies on earth, making everything from hairsprings to cases under its own roof.
