► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a rare vintage Seiko H601-5060 men’s ana-digi sports watch, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1980s. This model is part of Seiko’s early ana-digi lineup, combining a clean analog display with a digital readout in a distinctive stainless steel case typical of Seiko’s innovative sports designs from the era.
The watch is partially functioning. The digital portion is operating, and the analog timekeeping is also working. However, the side pushers do not engage the module, which prevents proper use of certain digital functions. Aside from the pusher issue, all other features and functions appear to be working properly. The exact cause of the pusher issue is unknown.
All parts of the watch itself are original. The watch is currently fitted with an aftermarket Citizen stainless steel strap. The strap has a buckle issue where it does not firmly close and will likely require adjustment or replacement in order to be worn securely.
The watch is in good physical condition overall, showing signs of use and age consistent with a vintage timepiece from the 1980s. Please review the photos carefully, as they best describe the watch’s physical condition.

► ARCHIVE FILE: SEIKO — BRAND HISTORY
Seiko begins with Kintaro Hattori, who opened a shop selling and repairing clocks in Tokyo's Ginza district in 1881, at the age of twenty-one. He founded the Seikosha factory in 1892 to manufacture wall clocks, built Japan's first wristwatch, the Laurel, in 1913, and put the Seiko name on a dial for the first time in 1924. By mid-century his successors ran one of the most vertically integrated watch companies on earth, making everything from hairsprings to cases under its own roof.
