Up for sale is a rare vintage Seiko Alba Epsilon Titanium Ana-Digi men’s sports watch, reference V084-8000, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1990s. Part of Seiko Alba’s innovative Epsilon line, this model combines lightweight titanium construction with a distinctive analog-digital layout, reflecting the bold, technical design language of Seiko’s 1990s sports watches. The watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions are operating properly. The analog hands, digital display, chronograph, and alarm functions are functioning as intended. All parts of the watch are original, including the titanium case and original Epsilon bracelet and clasp. Seiko begins with Kintaro Hattori, who opened a shop selling and repairing clocks in Tokyo's Ginza district in 1881, at the age of twenty-one. He founded the Seikosha factory in 1892 to manufacture wall clocks, built Japan's first wristwatch, the Laurel, in 1913, and put the Seiko name on a dial for the first time in 1924. By mid-century his successors ran one of the most vertically integrated watch companies on earth, making everything from hairsprings to cases under its own roof.
