► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a Rare Vintage Citizen Thunderbird Titanium men’s ana-digi sports watch, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1990s. The Thunderbird series is well regarded for its rugged construction, multi-function ana-digi layout, and advanced materials, and this example features a lightweight titanium case paired with a bold, functional dial design.
The watch is in working condition, and all features and functions operate properly with the exception of the sound, which is not working. Timekeeping, digital display, analog hands, chronograph, and other functions have been tested and are functioning as expected.
The watch is fitted with an aftermarket black strap. It shows signs of use and age consistent with a vintage sports watch. There is a mark on the crystal that is not a chip, but rather appears to be a bubble or deformation beneath the glass. The photos best describe the watch’s physical condition and should be reviewed carefully.

► ARCHIVE FILE: CITIZEN — BRAND HISTORY
Citizen traces to the Shokosha Watch Research Institute, founded in Tokyo in 1918. Its first product, a pocket watch completed in 1924, was christened CITIZEN, a name encouraged by Tokyo mayor Shinpei Goto in the hope that the watch would be close to the hearts of ordinary people. Citizen Watch Co. was formally established in 1930, and through the postwar decades it grew into one of the two pillars of Japanese watchmaking alongside Seiko, eventually ranking among the largest watch producers in the world.
