► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is an exceptionally rare 1930s Rolex Tudor men’s classic rectangular dress watch, featuring a highly desirable and seldom-seen co-signed Rolex and Tudor dial. Dual-signed dials from this early era are among the most collectible configurations, representing Tudor’s earliest years as Rolex’s companion brand and the close historical relationship between the two companies.
The watch is currently running and holding accurate time.
The dial displays bold Arabic numerals, elegant blued steel hands, and a subsidiary seconds register at 6 o’clock. The crisp rectangular layout and stepped minute track give the watch strong early Art Deco character, while the presence of both Rolex and Tudor signatures on the dial places this piece among a small group of early transitional models. It is extremely uncommon to find authentic examples with this co-signed dial configuration, making this watch especially desirable to collectors.
All parts of the watch are original except for the band, which has been replaced with an aftermarket brown leather strap. The case is 10K gold filled. The watch remains in great physical condition for its age and shows light signs of use and age. Photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully.
The watch is fitted on an aftermarket brown leather strap.

► ARCHIVE FILE: ROLEX — BRAND HISTORY
Rolex began in London in 1905, when Hans Wilsdorf and his brother-in-law Alfred Davis founded Wilsdorf & Davis to case Swiss movements for the British market. Wilsdorf registered the Rolex name in 1908, choosing it because it was short, easy to pronounce in any language, and fit neatly on a dial. He then set about proving that wristwatches, still dismissed as jewelry, could be precision instruments: a Rolex earned the first chronometer certificate granted to a wristwatch in 1910, a Kew Class A certificate followed in 1914, and the firm moved to Geneva in 1919.
