► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is an extremely rare vintage Citizen Q&Q Auto Calendar men’s digital sports film watch, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1980s. This model is part of the iconic “film watch” style made famous during the early digital era, featuring a slim rectangular case, minimalist black-and-gold display design, and lightweight rubber strap. The watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions of the watch are working properly, including timekeeping and auto calendar display. The keeper loop on the strap has been replaced at some point. Beyond this, all parts of the watch are original. The watch is in fantastic overall physical condition, showing only minor signs of use and age. Photos best describe its physical condition. This model is a direct competitor to the iconic Casio FS series film watches and is essentially the same style and concept, but with Q&Q branding—making it a highly desirable and much harder-to-find alternative. Key Details: • Brand: Citizen Q&Q • Era: 1980s • Origin: Japan Domestic Market (JDM) • Movement: Digital Quartz • Features: Time, Auto Calendar • Style: Men’s Digital Sports Film Watch • Strap: Black Rubber Strap Ships carefully. Feel free to message me with any questions.

► ARCHIVE FILE: CITIZEN — BRAND HISTORY

Citizen traces to the Shokosha Watch Research Institute, founded in Tokyo in 1918. Its first product, a pocket watch completed in 1924, was christened CITIZEN, a name encouraged by Tokyo mayor Shinpei Goto in the hope that the watch would be close to the hearts of ordinary people. Citizen Watch Co. was formally established in 1930, and through the postwar decades it grew into one of the two pillars of Japanese watchmaking alongside Seiko, eventually ranking among the largest watch producers in the world.
