Up for sale is a rare vintage Citizen Eco-Drive women’s solar casual dress watch from the 1990s, reference B810-H22749CK, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM). This elegant vintage Citizen model features the brand’s early Eco-Drive solar charging technology paired with a refined two-tone dress watch design.
The watch is in working condition when exposed to direct sunlight, however it does not hold a charge for very long. The rechargeable battery/capacitor will likely need to be replaced in order for the watch to function properly away from direct sunlight or over extended periods of time.
The watch is fitted on its original Citizen signed stainless steel bracelet.
The watch shows signs of use and age but remains in good physical condition overall. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully by interested buyers.

► ARCHIVE FILE: CITIZEN — BRAND HISTORY
Citizen traces to the Shokosha Watch Research Institute, founded in Tokyo in 1918. Its first product, a pocket watch completed in 1924, was christened CITIZEN, a name encouraged by Tokyo mayor Shinpei Goto in the hope that the watch would be close to the hearts of ordinary people. Citizen Watch Co. was formally established in 1930, and through the postwar decades it grew into one of the two pillars of Japanese watchmaking alongside Seiko, eventually ranking among the largest watch producers in the world.
