► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio Twin Graph AE-20W men’s digital sports watch, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1980s and powered by Module 588. This model is one of Casio’s most recognizable designs from the golden era of digital watchmaking, featuring the iconic dual graph display and bold technical styling. The sound is currently not functioning. All other features and functions of the watch are operating properly, including timekeeping, chronograph, calendar functions, and the dual graph display. Additionally, no pixels are missing from the screen. The internal battery clip is partially broken, though this does not affect the watch’s functionality in any way. It should only be noted for future battery changes. All parts of the watch are original, including the extremely rare original Casio Twin Graph band, which is very difficult to find. The watch also comes with a genuine Casio presentation box, although it is unknown whether the box was originally paired with this specific watch. The watch shows signs of use and age consistent with a worn vintage watch, but the photos best describe its physical condition. ► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
