Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio Super Cyber Cross digital game wristwatch, model JG-100, made exclusively for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1990s. This nostalgic multi-function watch features Casio’s unique IR beam communication system and was part of the iconic “Cyber Cross” series known for interactive messaging, data transfer, and built-in gaming. The watch is in full working condition with all features and functions operating properly, including timekeeping, message/data communication, game modes, and sound. The front-facing buttons feel a bit stiff with age but still function as intended. It is powered by Casio’s module 1248 and displays all screens as expected. The original strap has deteriorated and has been replaced with a brand new genuine Casio aftermarket band that matches the original styling. The watch is in very good physical condition overall, showing only minor signs of age-related wear. Please review all photos closely, as they best represent the actual condition of the watch. ► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
