► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is an exceptionally rare vintage Casio Sea-Pathfinder Thermo Scanner SPF-10 men’s digital sports watch, a highly collectible JDM-exclusive model from the 1990s powered by Module 2031. This is one of Casio’s most innovative and unusual Pathfinder releases, featuring a built-in thermo scanning function that allows the watch to read the temperature of objects — a capability that makes this model stand out even among other advanced Pathfinder watches. The watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions operate properly, including timekeeping, alarms, chronograph, temperature scan, auto-light switch, and more. All parts of the watch are 100% original, including the case, strap, screws, pushers, clasp, and all cosmetic components, each correctly marked with Casio branding. Physically, the watch is in fantastic, almost unused condition, showing only very minimal signs of age. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully by interested buyers. It is extremely difficult to find this model in such preserved condition, with both the strap and the case remaining crisp and clean. ► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
