► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is an extremely rare vintage Casio Rookie Adventure Club RKA-507 men’s flip-top ana-digi watch, powered by Module 358 and produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1980s. This is one of Casio’s most unique hybrid designs from the era, featuring a flip-top cover that opens to reveal an analog dial with a digital display tucked below — a signature feature of the Adventure Club lineup. The watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions operate properly, including the analog timekeeping, digital display, and mode functions. Every part of the watch is 100% original, including the case, flip cover, crown, buttons, and leather strap. Physically, the watch shows signs of use, including aging and wear on the case and strap. It should be noted that the strap is beginning to deteriorate from age. It may need to be replaced in order for daily use. The dial and digital display remain clean and legible. The photos best describe its physical condition. Key Details: • Model: Casio Rookie Adventure Club RKA-507 • Module: 358 • Display: Ana-Digi with flip-top cover • Market: Japan Domestic Market (JDM) • Era: 1980s • Condition: Fully working; signs of use • Strap: Original leather strap (aging/deteriorating) • All parts original A truly rare and collectible early Adventure Club model — rarely seen, especially in original working condition. Ships carefully. Feel free to message me with any questions.

► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
