Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio Pro Trek men’s digital sports watch, model DPX-400 with Module 1283, made in Japan for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1990s. This model features Casio’s “Alti-Thermo” twin sensor technology, offering both altimeter and thermometer functions—designed for outdoor use and adventure-ready performance.
The watch is in full working condition. All features and functions operate properly, including the timekeeping, altimeter, thermometer, backlight, and memory modes.
All parts of the watch are original, including the distinctive Pro Trek fabric strap and buckle. The watch is in very good physical condition with signs of gentle wear consistent with age and use. Please refer closely to the photos as they best describe its physical condition.

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
