Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio Pro Trek BirdLife PRL-30 men’s digital sports watch, equipped with module 1626 and produced exclusively for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1990s. This model was released as part of a special collaboration with BirdLife International, making it one of the most distinctive and collectible Pro Trek editions ever produced.
The watch is brand new and unused, complete with its original woven basket-style display box, outer box, tags, and accessories. All features and functions operate properly, including the EL backlight, which reveals a unique ostrich graphic—a signature detail exclusive to this limited-edition collaboration.

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
