► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is an extremely rare vintage Casio Melody 30 M-30 Alarm Booster men’s digital sports watch, powered by Module 472 and produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1980s. This iconic model is part of Casio’s Melody series, featuring built-in musical alarm functions, and is further distinguished by the highly sought-after Alarm Booster attachment, designed to amplify the sound—an accessory that is almost never found intact with the watch.
The watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions operate properly as intended, including timekeeping, alarm, and melody functions.
All parts of the watch are original, including the original Melody 30 strap and the Alarm Booster case attachment. Finding either of these components with the watch is extremely difficult, and examples retaining both are exceptionally scarce.
The watch also comes with its original Casio box.
The watch is in excellent physical condition, showing only minor signs of use and age consistent with a well-preserved vintage piece. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully.

► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY
Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
