Up for sale is an extremely rare Vintage Casio LP-520 Digital Necklace Watch, powered by module 234 and produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1980s. This is a unique and hard-to-find Casio pendant-style digital timepiece designed to be worn as a necklace.
This example is in full working condition. All features and functions operate properly, and the display is clear and functioning as it should.
All parts of the item are original, including the original Casio necklace chain. The piece also comes with its original Casio hangtags, which is very rarely seen today.
The item is in fantastic overall physical condition, showing only minor signs of use and age. It presents very well, and the photos best describe its physical condition.
A highly collectible and unusual Casio piece that rarely appears on the market.

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
