► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is an extremely rare and highly collectible vintage Casio Fish En Time FT-100W men’s digital sports watch, reference module 844. Produced in the 1980s, this version is the European-market release, which is why it carries the “Fish En Time” name rather than the “Fish In Time” label used on the American model. This first-series variant is highly sought after and especially desirable among serious Casio collectors. This iconic watch features Casio’s Fish En Time function, designed for anglers and outdoor enthusiasts, paired with a durable resin case, digital display, alarm, stopwatch, and classic 1980s sports styling. The watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions are operating properly. It has been fitted with a brand new aftermarket strap for immediate wear. The case shows signs of use and natural aging, consistent with its vintage nature, but remains in solid overall condition. The photos best describe its physical condition. Key Details: • Brand: Casio • Model: Fish En Time FT-100W • Module: 844 • Era: 1980s • Market: European Model Version • Strap: Brand new aftermarket replacement • Condition: Fully functional; signs of use and age – see photos An exceptionally rare and desirable vintage Casio, and a true collector’s piece—especially notable for being the European-market “Fish En Time” edition of this classic angler’s watch. ► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
