► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio Data Bank men’s calculator digital watch, model DBC-1500 with Module 1477, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) during the 1990s. This iconic Data Bank model is a classic example of Casio’s multifunction digital design, combining calculator capability with advanced data storage features that made these watches a staple of 1990s tech-forward style. The watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions operate properly, including timekeeping, calendar, calculator, Data Bank (Telememo), alarm, and backlight. The display is clear, and all buttons respond as intended. All parts of the watch are original, including the case, module, and original Casio stainless steel bracelet with signed clasp. The watch shows signs of use and age consistent with a vintage piece, but remains in good physical condition overall. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully. ► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
