► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Rare Vintage Casio CA-901 Men’s Digital Calculator Watch JDM 1980s Module 134. One of Casio’s most iconic early calculator watches, the CA-901 combines classic 1980s styling with practical calculator functionality and remains highly sought after by vintage digital watch collectors. The watch is in full working condition and all features and functions of the watch are working properly. All parts of the watch are original, including the original Casio signed stainless steel bracelet. It should be noted that the watch has slight screen bleed in the bottom right corner of the display. This does not affect the functionality of the watch and is purely cosmetic. Some collectors have reported success reducing or eliminating similar screen bleed, although no guarantees can be made. The watch is in excellent physical condition with light signs of use and age. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully. Key Details: • Brand: Casio • Model: CA-901 • Module: 134 • Era: 1980s • Market: Japan Domestic Market (JDM) • Condition: Full working condition • Originality: All parts original including the original Casio signed stainless steel bracelet • Notes: Slight screen bleed in bottom right corner that does not affect functionality A fantastic example of one of Casio’s most recognizable vintage calculator watches. Original and fully functional examples in this condition are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Ships carefully. Feel free to message me with any questions.

► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
