Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio AX-210 men’s digital calendar melody sports watch powered by Module 118 and produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1980s. This model is one of Casio’s more distinctive early digital designs, featuring calendar and melody alarm functionality along with a bold multi-display layout that perfectly captures the style of the era.
The sound is not functioning on the watch. I have not diagnosed the cause of the issue, and while I believe it may be possible to repair, I will leave that determination to the buyer. Aside from the sound, the watch is in full working condition and all other features and functions are working properly. The screen is 100% screen bleed free.
The watch is fitted on an aftermarket stainless steel bracelet. All other parts of the watch are original.
The watch shows signs of use and age consistent with a worn vintage watch. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully prior to purchase.

► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY
Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
