► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio AX-210 men’s digital calendar melody sports watch powered by Module 118 and produced for the Japan Domestic Market JDM in the 1980s. This model is one of Casio’s more distinctive early digital designs featuring calendar and melody alarm functionality with a bold multi display layout that defines the era. The watch is in full working condition and all features and functions are operating properly. It should be noted that the display has screen bleed which is clearly visible but it does not affect the functionality of the watch. Some individuals have been able to reduce or remove screen bleed using various techniques but this has not been attempted here and will be left to the buyer. The watch is fitted on an aftermarket Casio stainless steel bracelet. All other parts of the watch are original. The watch shows signs of use and age consistent with a worn vintage watch. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully. Key Details: • Brand: Casio • Model: AX-210 • Module: 118 • Era: 1980s • Market: Japan Domestic Market JDM • Movement: Digital quartz • Features: Calendar melody alarm timekeeping • Bracelet: Aftermarket Casio stainless steel bracelet • Condition: Full working condition with screen bleed present and signs of use and age A highly desirable and increasingly hard to find vintage Casio model especially in full working condition. Ships carefully. Feel free to message me with any questions.

► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
