► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a NOS Vintage Casio G-Shock DW-9600WC-3AT W.C.C.S. (World Coral-Reef Conservation Society) men’s digital sports watch, powered by Module 1845 and produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1990s. This highly collectible special-edition model was released as part of Casio’s environmental collaboration series supporting coral-reef conservation, featuring a distinctive translucent green case and strap and exclusive W.C.C.S. branding. The watch is being sold strictly for parts or repair. A battery was inserted, but the watch did not power on. No additional testing or troubleshooting was performed, so the underlying issue is unknown, and it should be assumed that the watch may require repair. All parts of the watch are 100% original, and it comes complete with its original box and hangtags, exactly as originally sold. The W.C.C.S. packaging, inserts, and promotional materials are also included as shown. Physically, the watch is in mint, never used condition, preserved beautifully in its original packaging. The translucent green resin, lettering, and strap are exceptionally clean, and the photos best describe its untouched physical condition. ► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
