Up for sale is a NOS (New Old Stock) vintage Casio Alarm Chrono Illuminator A168 digital sports watch from the 1990s, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) and powered by Module 3298. This iconic model features Casio’s Electro Luminescence Illuminator technology along with alarm, chronograph, and calendar functions, making it one of the most popular and recognizable digital watches ever produced.
The watch is in full working condition and all features and functions are working properly, including the Electro Luminescence backlight.
All parts of the watch are original. The watch comes complete with its original presentation box and original manual.
The watch is in mint never used physical condition. For photography purposes, the original protective film was partially lifted to better showcase the watch and was carefully left in place afterward. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully prior to purchase.

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
