Up for sale is an ultra rare NOS (New Old Stock) Casio Soccer Timer men’s Ana-Digi sports watch, model SCT-30, powered by Module 722 and produced exclusively for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1980s. This vibrant red colorway is one of the most desirable versions of the Soccer Timer series and is extremely difficult to find, especially complete with its original hangtag and in such pristine condition. Designed for soccer players and sports enthusiasts, the SCT-30 blends both analog and digital timekeeping and features specialized soccer-timing functions, including a stopwatch, countdown timer, alarm, and full calendar. It is also water resistant to 10 BAR (100 meters), showcasing Casio’s precision engineering and durable sports design from the era. The watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions operate properly. It is fitted with a brand new aftermarket strap, replacing the original that had deteriorated from age. The watch itself remains in mint physical condition, having never been worn or used. The case, bezel, crystal, and buttons are all in pristine shape, and the dial and digital display are crisp and vibrant. ► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
