This model is part of Casio’s innovative “Cognit Schema” line and represents one of the brand’s most futuristic designs of the era — combining technology, fashion, and function in a translucent green case and strap configuration. This Cognit Schema Telememo 50 edition features a built-in calculator, schedule and memo storage, world time, alarm, stopwatch, and electro-luminescent backlight — functions that made it a true digital marvel of its time. The watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions operate properly. Every part of the watch is 100% original, including the translucent resin strap, clasp, and keypad. It comes complete with its original box and papers, making it an exceptional collector-grade example. The watch itself is in mint, never used physical condition, showing no wear or aging. ► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY

Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
