► SELLER'S DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a rare vintage Casio 60QS-20 men’s digital chronograph sports watch, produced for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) in the 1970s. This example is new old stock (NOS) and comes with its original hangtag, representing an early period of Casio’s pioneering digital watchmaking. The stainless steel construction and clean, functional display reflect Casio’s formative quartz design era.
The watch is in full working condition, and all features and functions operate properly, including timekeeping, chronograph, and display functions.
All parts of the watch are original, including the case, module, clasp, and original genuine Casio stainless steel bracelet.
The watch is in near mint physical condition, showing minimal signs of handling. There is a small blemish on one area of the case back; this may be able to be improved or removed with a light polishing. Aside from that, the watch presents exceptionally well. The photos best describe its physical condition and originality.

► ARCHIVE FILE: CASIO — BRAND HISTORY
Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year. The move into watchmaking came in November 1974 with the Casiotron, a digital watch whose claim to fame was an automatic calendar that knew how many days each month had, a small feat of logic that announced how an electronics firm would approach timekeeping.
